Make the event look creator-led
The presence of creators had to be visible on ground, so attendees and potential clients could immediately recognise that content creation was built into the event experience.
Sports event × Creator activation × Event photography
For Green Fit Marathon Season 1, The Brown Club combined creator management, event-day content execution and event photography to make the experience more presentable on ground and more valuable beyond the event itself. What began as a creator-led activation became a three-season working relationship.
The relationship
Before Green Fit Marathon launched, The Brown Club already had a long working relationship with the wider team behind the event. We had collaborated across political campaigns, corporate events, music videos and other assignments, building a strong understanding of how they worked and what they expected.
By the time Season 1 arrived, the relationship had already developed over roughly a year and a half — making the brief less about introducing capabilities and more about finding a new idea that could make the marathon stand out.

The brief
The founder wanted the event to feel more visible and more presentable on event day. With the creator economy growing rapidly, the team saw an opportunity to bring creators directly into the marathon experience — not only for content, but also to make the event itself look bigger, more contemporary and more commercially attractive to people attending on the day.
The problem
The organisers wanted visible creator participation, but the creators did not need to be heavily bound by mandatory posting requirements. The event itself had to become the experience.
The presence of creators had to be visible on ground, so attendees and potential clients could immediately recognise that content creation was built into the event experience.
Capturing runners and race energy is difficult from one fixed location. Creators needed movement, access and better angles to produce more interesting content.
Photography, creator coordination, branded apparel and a dedicated creator zone needed to work together as one system rather than separate add-ons.
The idea
Rather than inviting creators individually and letting them blend into the crowd, we proposed a recognisable creator identity that became part of the event design itself.

The creator system
The Brown Club handled selection, communication, on-ground coordination and the event-day creator experience.
We curated approximately 40 smaller creators who could add energy, visibility and content coverage to the event.
We proposed common T-shirts with “Content Creator” on the back and Green Fit Marathon branding on the front so the creator group looked intentional and professional.
Creators were briefed, managed and guided so arrival, coverage and content delivery could happen smoothly on event day.

A creator-first event detail
We recommended giving creators a dedicated branded area rather than treating them like regular attendees moving around without a base.
The Creator Corner acted as a recognisable meeting and refreshment point where creators could sit, regroup and coordinate during the event.
After the event, the client shared that several attendees and prospective clients had specifically asked about the creator setup and how the activation worked — validating the decision to make the creator layer visible on ground.
The on-ground innovation
A marathon moves continuously. The content setup had to move with it.
We arranged an open jeep so selected creators could move with the race environment and capture runners from more dynamic angles.
Creators were also given access to superbikes with drivers, allowing them to capture moving marathon footage in a way that felt fresh and visually different.
The main expectation was to create and deliver useful event content to the Green Fit team. The experience was designed around participation rather than overloading creators with mandatory social posting requirements.
Alongside the creator activation, The Brown Club also handled event photography to document the race, participants, atmosphere and event scale professionally.
A day-before recce helped us understand creator movement, event zones and practical shooting opportunities before the event went live.
The Brown Club was also involved in core planning during Season 1, including content-led promotion and Instagram advertising support around the event.

Execution
Creator activation, event photography and operational planning were all connected before race day.
We selected the creator group, aligned the event-day expectations and prepared the content-creator identity and logistics.
The team reviewed movement, routes, creator positions and practical shooting opportunities before the live event.
The coordinated group reached the venue, received direction and moved into the event experience without last-minute chaos.
Open-jeep coverage, superbike access and on-ground shooting gave creators multiple ways to capture the marathon beyond conventional static footage.
Creators delivered the required content to the Green Fit team, while The Brown Club continued the relationship into Season 2 and Season 3 through event photography.

The result
The project succeeded not because creators were simply present, but because their presence was visible, organised and integrated into the marathon experience.

Why it mattered
The event looked more organised, more current and more commercially interesting. The matching creator identity, branded Creator Corner and mobile shooting setups turned content creation into something attendees could actually see happening — and that visibility itself became part of the event’s value.
Event-day photo wall
From the common creator identity to the final team moments, the activation was designed to be visible on ground — not hidden behind a posting schedule.

Events become more valuable when content is designed into the experience.
The Brown Club plans creator activations, event-day content systems and professional coverage that make live experiences more visible, more memorable and easier to market.
